Our database servers are located at Amazon Web Services, in the datacenters of Ireland.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA ARE COLLECTED AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES ?
We collect personal data that you provide to us and data that we collect from you.

We use this personal data to enhance your user experience and personalize our services.

When you use our platform and/or register, we collect and process personal data about you such as: your first and last names.

We also ask you to provide us with your email address so that we can use this information to create an account, send you information and notifications, and send you the newsletter.

We also collect your avatar, city of residence, gender, phone number, IP address and certain information available on your social networks. We also ask you to provide us with an optional biography.

TooShare uses Learning Analytics methods to analyze courses taken, exercises, chapters completed, courses and projects. We use this data for analysis and display. This data is used for a variety of purposes, including collecting your user experience and tracking your progress, setting up tracking and statistics based on your motivation.

You have the option of registering on the Platform via your Facebook account or your Google account. If you connect to our services using the social network features available to you, and in particular Facebook, TooShare will have access to certain data (in particular your Facebook public profile, your date of birth and your email address) of your account on the aforementioned social network in accordance with the terms and conditions of use of the concerned social network. We may also collect some of your personal data when you interact with features of these social networks, such as “Like” features.

In the context of satisfaction surveys, we may use a customer satisfaction measurement tool (Net Promoter Score). You will be asked via this tool to write a review on the training followed with TooShare.

WHY DO WE USE COOKIES ?
We use cookies on our Website for the needs of your navigation and to optimize and personalize our Services on our Platform by memorizing your preferences.

WHAT ABOUT THE COLLECTION OF DATA FROM MINORS?
We attach great importance to the safety of minors, which is why we do not collect personal data from minors under the age of 15.

As our goal is to make education accessible to all, minors may access the Site to search for information and take courses.

Our Platform makes no provision for the registration, collection or storage of information relating to any person under the age of 15.

You should read this Privacy Policy to ensure that you understand it.

If you gave your consent as a minor, your personal data has been collected.

You can exercise your right to be forgotten if you no longer wish to have your data stored in our databases.

DATA RETENTION ?
In accordance with the principle of conservation of the General Regulation on the Protection of Data, and with the simplified Standard 48 for the management of the customers and prospects files, the personal data relative to the customers cannot be kept beyond the duration of conservation strictly necessary to the management of the commercial relation. TooShare commits to delete or archive the customer data after 3 years following the last purchase, and the prospect data after 3 years following the last interaction. Exceptions are data necessary to establish proof of a right or a contract, which may be archived, as provided by the provisions of the Commercial Code relating to the retention period of books and documents created in the course of commercial activities, and the Consumer Code relating to the retention of contracts concluded by electronic means.

RESALE OF PERSONAL DATA ?
TooShare does not sell personal data to any third party. All the data that we collect are neither given, nor rented, nor sold, nor exchanged to third companies.

Only in the optional process of applying for scholarships, personal data collected from Users can be shared with its partner, the NGO Study Access Alliance.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?
In accordance with the regulations in force, Users of our Platform have the following rights:

right of access and rectification ;
to update and complete User data;
the right to block or delete Users’ personal data, when they are inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, outdated, or whose collection, use, communication or storage is prohibited;
the right to withdraw consent at any time;
the right to limit the processing of Users’ data;
the right to object to the processing of personal data;
right to the portability of the data that the Users will have provided, when these data are the object of automated treatments based on their consent or a contract.

Your requests will be treated within one month. In case of reasonable doubt as to your identity, we can ask to be provided with additional information necessary to confirm your identity.
